News Release - C.A.L.E.A. Accrediation Team Invites Public Comment
Auburn, Maine — A team of assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (C.A.L.E.A.), will arrive December 06, 2008 to examine all aspects of the Lewiston / Auburn 911 Communications Center’s policy and procedures, management, operations, and support services.

Educational Programs
Since the beginning of the school year, Connie Hicks of the Lewiston/Auburn 911 Communications Center has presented an education program to all Lewiston elementary children in Grades Kindergarten through Second Grade. The 911 Educational Program provides information and serves as a reminder for the public to use the "9-1-1" phone number for all police, fire and medical emergencies.
